The highest scoring Madrid side in European Cup history

Bayern de MĂșnich - Real Madrid
Ancelotti's men reach the final after scoring 37 times in 12 games.
One of the key features taking Real Madrid to Lisbon is their goalscoring prowess. The Whites have scored 37 goals in 12 games. After the exhibition at the Allianz Arena, Ancelotti's side have now registered Madrid's highest-ever scoring season in the European Cup. Until now, they had scored 35 times on four occasions (1999-00, 2000-01, 2001-02 and 2011-12).

The first two games in this season's Champions League showed Madrid's offensive potential: 1-6 away to Galatasaray and 4-0 at home to Copenhagen. Real Madrid finished the Group Phase as undefeated group winners, having scored 20 goals. This was kept up in the knockout stages against the German clubs. Schalke shipped nine, Borussia three and Bayern five to make it a total of 37 goals, an average of more than three per game.
